This package design’s task is a little more unusual than most given that it’s not used to sell a product but instead is only seen after its purchase.
Therefore the intent of the package design is to gain credibility with Moms through a slightly more sophisticated color choice as well as typography reminiscent of what is seen in editorial content of women’s magazines. The see-through element of the apple shape also reinforces a quality statement by literally being transparent with the product and demonstrating there is nothing to hide. These qualities combined with the simple illustration style yields an overall sense of fun and wholesomeness.
